Good Snowy Morning!

More Snow? YAS! We’ve had an incredible snow season so far, and we got another few inches last night, putting us at 81 inches of snow this season! Snow will continue today, with more en route every day until Sunday! Mother Nature has dropped just about 2 feet in the New Year, and the snow parade is going to keep on coming! Our snowmakers are at the ready once temps drop tonight to get the flakes flying (while the natural flakes fly!), and it’s going to be an awesome holiday stretch at The Sun Mountain! Get on up here!

Our midweek schedule of 4 lifts will have us skiing & riding 31 trails, the majority of which have been groomed. Groomers are out early this morning mixing that good stuff into our corduroy, and a freshly winched Pabst Panic will be tempting our fans of diamonds in the East Side Steeps, once Ski Patrol gives us the OK. Safety is our greatest priority here at Bromley, and as such, our trail & lift operations are always weather-dependent. The Bonanza pop-up park is rockin’ on Lower Thruway with boxes, rails, and mini-kickers, and remember, it’s ok to take it slow in the park! Everyone belongs on the slopes at Bromley, and our terrain has an inestimable amount of character to tempt all abilities!

The weather today will be snowy, with temperatures hanging in the 30s, accompanied by a southeasterly breeze. Our new snow will make for some sweet corduroy, and more snow showers will continue over the next 3 days! Bromley is known for its outstanding snow quality, and we are currently skiing & riding the best snow in SoVT!

Today is National Bagel Day! There might be only one right way to slice a bagel, but at Bromley, you can slice up an infinite number of run combinations to get you from Summit to Base. Twister - Twister (aka Upper & Lower Twister) would definitely be my Sesame Bagel, a classic run I can always rely on as a quality warm-up. When I feel like going hard, I pop a pumpernickel bagel in the toaster, or I head to the East Side to ride Blue Ribbon, crossing over to Pabst Peril and finishing on Lower East Meadow. And when I’m looking for “the works” (aka an Everything bagel), I do Snow Ranger - Thruway - Run Around 2 & 3, Lower Thruway, and Plaza. (Say that 5 times fast!). Any way you slice it, The Sun Mountain is all that and a nice schmear of cream cheese ;-).

Chairlift Hours of Operation: Midweek: 9AM-4PM; Weekends & holidays: 8:30AM-4PM

Uphill Travel is open daily from dawn to dusk. Please keep your pass visible, stick to designated routes, and stay alert around all mountain operations and equipment.

Please park in the main lot through the tunnel. There is no parking in the drop-off zone.

Safety is everyone's responsibility. Please stick to open trails only. If a trail is closed, it's closed for a reason and that reason is your safety.

Lift operations are always weather dependent, as safety is always our greatest concern. Keep an eye on the snow report or our socials for any changes to our daily plan.
